It starts with a breath: Lumen is the world’s first hand-held, portable device to accurately measure metabolism.

Once available only to top athletes, in hospitals and clinics, metabolic testing is now available to everyone.

The science isn’t new, but the technology is: Lumen uses a CO2 sensor and flow meter to determine the CO2 concentration in a single breath. This indicates the type of fuel your body is using to produce energy.

The Lumen was designed by twin sisters Michal and Merav Mor, both with PhDs in physiology. They were looking for an easy way to track their metabolism during training for an Ironman race, and they created a small Bluetooth-connected device that measures the CO2 concentration in your breath and determines if your body is burning fat or carbs. At first glance, the Lumen kind of resembles a vape pen, which could make it go almost unnoticed if you were measuring your breath in the public.

Is TP-Link AC1750 WiFi Extender good:

Setting this up is tricky, as you have to log onto your wifi router's network page to enable WPS connection so the extender can connect to the router. After this, you can place it halfway between your router and the location you need to boost your wifi and continue with the setup. After you're connected, you can turn WPS off again, and the extender will remember and connect your network if you need to move it around the house or you move houses without the complicated WPS shenanigans, just plug it in and it will connect. It is not very hard, but you will need to closely follow the directions or have some tech support to successfully connect it. Once connected, this device is great. We get wifi at all corners of the house, event 2 floors away at the opposite side.

It's great being able to check in with our dogs when we aren’t home and give them treats!. Works seamlessly. The video quality is great, even the night time vision. The dog barking push notification is available even after the free subscription to the Nanny cam is over, contrary to what has been mentioned previously, other push notifications are not such as activity notifications, but dog barking is.

This is actually a very good product. Not super affordable, but we have a huge cement wall that stops the Internet from getting anywhere but the front of the house. As TV streaming services and the Internet of Things keep growing, old routers are not able to keep up. With Nighthawk it is possible to connect everything to the network, update things that have never even seen any form of connection, connect to a streaming service, and extenders are no longer needed.

Is Body+ good:

Offers data feeds to capture each weight measurement data points into a mobile app. This scale definitely lives up to this promise and its connectivity is superb. It never misses out on any data and easily checks up in either the Apple Health app or its own app, which is very well designed.

It provides a big convenience to record measurements at any time, and the fact that it connects to WIFI rather than Bluetooth/NFC requires no phone to be nearby, is definitely a big differentiator compared to other scales!
