Is Tavool Stud Finder good:

Works as advertised. The display is backlit and easy to read and the back surface has soft fabric pads, so it doesn't scratch the drywall. It seems to get the edges of the 2x4s pretty reliably. Detects metal teleposts in stud mode as well. Easy to use and calibrate. The hot wire detection seems to be always on regardless of which mode you use and shows up as an additional icon when you slide over a wire, which is a plus.

Is NextMind Dev Kit good:

The NextMind sensor itself is surprisingly small and light — it fits in the palm of your hand, with two arms that extend slightly beyond that. It features an integrated clip mount that can be used to attach it to just about anything to secure it to your head. In terms of fit, you just need to ensure that the nine sets of two-pronged electrode sensors make contact with your skin, which NextMind provides instructions on doing by essentially making sure it straps snugly to your head, and then “combing” the device slightly (moving it up and down to get your hair out of the way).

It wears comfortably, though you will notice the electrodes pressing into your skin, especially over longer use periods. The ability to use a standard baseball cap with the clip makes it super convenient to install and wear, and it worked with the Oculus Rift and Oculus Quest headstraps easily and instantly, too.

The science isn’t new, but the technology is: Lumen uses a CO2 sensor and flow meter to determine the CO2 concentration in a single breath. This indicates the type of fuel your body is using to produce energy.

The Lumen was designed by twin sisters Michal and Merav Mor, both with PhDs in physiology. They were looking for an easy way to track their metabolism during training for an Ironman race, and they created a small Bluetooth-connected device that measures the CO2 concentration in your breath and determines if your body is burning fat or carbs.
